Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how jdgrid.com and its projects (including yutils.jdgrid.com) handle information. Each project may publish its own Privacy Policy with project-specific details; this page covers the principles common to all.
1. What we collect
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 may collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, browser, country). No personally identifying information is sent.
- Tool inputs are never collected. Tools on yutils run entirely in your browser; the data you paste or upload is never transmitted to our servers.
- Email correspondence — if you email support@jdgrid.com, we receive your email address and message.
2. Cookies
We use first-party cookies for Google Analytics
(_ga, _ga_*). You can opt out via the
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
.
3. localStorage
Tools may save preferences (theme, favorites, recent items) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to us. Clearing browser data removes it.
4. Third-party services
- Google Analytics — usage analytics. See Google's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata for security.
- Google AdSense (planned) — when ads are enabled, Google may use cookies to personalize ads. Users in the EU/UK will see a consent banner.
5. Children's privacy
jdgrid services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
6. Your rights
You can request access to or deletion of any data we hold by emailing support@jdgrid.com.
7. Policy changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and announced via project pages.
